Research into Children's Language Development for my degree. Quite
clearly, the children in the Rising 5s have excellent language and
communication skills and demonstrate that your curriculum, based on the
Curriculum Guidance for the Foundation Stage is effective in
creating confident, young 'meaning makers'. It has been a pleasure
to observe such good teaching and learning; furthermore it is inspiring
to observe an excellent model of the Foundation Stage in practise.
The children I observed are clearly well prepared for the Early Years
classes that they shall soon be entering and I have no doubt that their
experiences at Kindergarten have positively contributed to their good
