Dear Parents We have a busy few months ahead of us and this is a magical time of year for the children and staff, in the next few weeks Christmas tunes will begin to be heard throughout the rooms. We hope you will join us at one of the class events during the months of November and December 2005 (please refer to the what’s on sheets attached). It has been unfortunate that the French classes had to temporarily cease for this term, this was due to the French teacher having to withdraw at very short notice for family reasons, and this meant every class she held in a variety of Oxfordshire settings became cancelled. We have since successfully secured a new teacher with the same company, and she will be resuming French classes on Friday’s during term time from January 2006. We apologise for an inconvenience this may have caused to you and your children. In addition, due to popular demand we shall also be providing after school French on Friday afternoons, which will begin in the first week of the January 2006 school term.
December is just around the corner, the weather is now much cooler and the days have got much shorter. Please can we ask parents to dress their children in warm outdoor coats, as well as gloves and hats and winter outdoor shoes. The children will be able to enjoy their playtime much more if they are dressed for the weather. Please can we also stress the importance of ensuring your child is accompanied by an appointed adult out of the nurseries as they leave to go home at the end of each day and that a careful eye is kept on your child entering the car parking areas. We are delighted to welcome new children and their parents that have joined us over the last few months. We also send congratulations to those parents that have recently given birth, well done to you.
Many thanks and best wishes to all of you for this coming Christmas and the New Year.
