Introduction

These activities are not included in your fees as this results in higher fees for everyone.  If you wish your child to participate in extra-curricular activities you may choose to do so.

Every Monday afternoon and every Thursday afternoon a small group of children enjoy swimming trips at the Windrush Leisure Centre, during term time.

We have exclusive use of the learner pool and a lifeguard.

We have a rota in place for swimming.  Children can attend as little or as often as you wish.  A nominal fee is charged when your child swims.

Ballet

Every Wednesday morning a small group of children from the age of three years upwards participate in ballet classes at the Jill Stew School of Dance.  The classes are during term-time and run for a ten-week consecutive period.  Children have the option to join a new class for the following term, once their ten week period is complete.

Horse Riding

Every Friday morning a small group of children from the age of three and a half years of age upwards participate in Horse-riding at a local Equestrian Centre.  We have a rota in place and children can attend as often as you wish.  The classes run during term time.

Soft Play

Every Tuesday morning one class enjoys soft play trips at ‘Kinderkids’.  This encourages physical development as well as being lots of fun.  The outings run during term time.

Music Sessions

Every Tuesday we have music sessions from the age of three and a half years of age upwards.  An early years music teacher visits each class of 3 ½ yrs, 4 yrs and R5’s to extend language and numeracy through music.  The classes are run during term time at nursery and are thoroughly enjoyed by this age group.  No additional charge is made for music sessions.
