Introduction

We have specific equipment carefully chosen for the 0-10 month and 10-15 month age range.  Toys are available to meet every child’s needs always taking into account individual stages of development.  To add to your child’s enjoyment, we have a sensory soft play area in the 0-10 month room, and a larger soft play area in the 10-month room, these items are purpose built and encourage co-ordination and movement in a safe and fun way.

The time that your little ones spend with us is stimulating and rewarding.  There is an emphasis on learning through play at an early age making it an enjoyable experience for your little ones.

Initially very early learning toys are introduced to meet your little ones particular needs.  As your child grows and shows an interest in more activities we begin to introduce art and crafts, play dough, water play, early learning books, raised puzzles, stacking and sorting toys, large construction toys, music and movement and imaginative play.

Each child gains their own rewards through many of the activities available. Construction toys are extremely versatile tools in aiding the development of babies and young children.  Toys that encourage imaginative play are not only popular, they are an important part of a child’s development.  Education toys involve a great deal of concentration and skill on the child’s behalf.  The toys are selected to provide fun and create a sense of achievement.

Daily diaries are completed – these record your little ones progress.  The diary sheets are prepared ready for the end of the day.

Every three months individual progress reports are completed.

When your child is ready we begin visits to the next age group.  The visits are important ensuring that your child gains confidence enabling them to enjoy a smooth transition into a new group.
